Amarnah Ufuoma Cleopatra’s improvisation class will share and explore her voice and movement practice, including some elements of contact improvisation.
As with all Monday Night Improvisation classes, this class is open to all and no previous experience of dance or improvisation is needed.
The class will start first from the ‘I’, the breath, grounding and self-exploration. Travelling into duets, to see and be seen, and to be in relationship to each other. Eventually it will move into exploring how simple contact can deepen experience of the breath, voice, words and sounding.
