Join Akeim Toussaint Buck in sharing his Beatmotion Practice, an approach to improvisation and play using voice, vocality and movement – a simple and sophisticated, fun tool for choreography and character exploration.
All are invited to enter this playful universe of voice and movement and experience the craft of the instant composition of vocal music and the dancing body. This practice brings movement and vocal improvisation together to challenge and innovate the current modalities of performance art.
Beatmotion deconstructs words into syllabic forms, creating improvisation compositions with vocal scores and seeks a deeper understanding of movement dynamics whilst communicating with vocal sound.
This class will begin with a brief introduction to the practice by warming voices and bodies to enable you to connect with each other, then you will dive deep into the osmosis of improvisation and play. Welcome the inner child and the mastery of performance art.

We hope this is understandable. If a class is cancelled or changed by ID however, we do offer refunds/transfers to everyone who has booked.
