For this Monday Night Improvisation class, you will focus on different ways of engaging with your eyes and vision. Through guided explorations and tasks, you will explore practical and imaginative elements of your experience, playing with what we observe and how we respond. This will include moments of: eyes closed, eyes open, focusing on different ways of using and thinking about seeing to generate movement.
We will start by working individually, so that you can get attuned with your own rhythms and impulses, and expand from there to connect with the space and each other. There may be moments of performing to each other.
You will be encouraged towards states of listening, focus and playfulness where your bodies and minds are in movement, and there is space for new meanings and perspectives to emerge.

Prices for classes are kept very low and are subsidised by ID in order to support artists to attend. To keep admin manageable for our small team, we don’t offer refunds if you cancel or can’t attend a class, and we can’t transfer your booking to a different class/event. We hope this is understandable.
If a class is cancelled or changed by ID however, we do offer refunds/transfers to everyone who has booked.
