What do we do when we do that thing that we call performing? How can we explore, support and further our potential as performers and makers, those of us who work with our bodies, our movement and their presence?
In these morning classes, A will share the way they have been trying to answer these questions for themself and for others over the last decade, in a practical rather than theoretical way. The sessions will alternate between the structure of a Klein Technique™ Stretch and Placement class and the methodologies of A’s own open form performance practice. This performance practice has been influenced by an endless list of artists who see performing as a practice in itself, and has been nurtured through a space called OPENLAB which ran for a number of years.
Please note this class only takes place Monday – Wednesday due to the long bank holiday.
