“I like to call my classes Earthflow, as I feel my intention in my physical practice is to feel connected to the ground and seek to find flow and expansion in my movement. Expect some set material and some improvisation stimuli to keep us on our toes. This is an approach inspired by Contemporary and Caribbean Dance Elements, Release Technique, Animal Flow, Yoga and Capoeira.
Together we will seek liberation and flow, strengthening our connection to the earth both physically and energetically, seeking to find elasticity in our movement. We’ll creatively explore cyclical movement patterns and rhythms, travelling through space, inviting curiosity, accuracy, breath and clarity. In an energetic and playful environment, we’ll revitalise our senses, build strength, stamina and open our awareness as we move together as a community. Class will be accompanied by live music (beatbox, vocal improv loop station).”
Cancellations & refunds
Prices for classes are kept very low and are subsidised by ID in order to support artists to attend. To keep admin manageable for our small team, we don’t offer refunds if you cancel or can’t attend a class, and we can’t transfer your booking to a different class/event. We hope this is understandable. If a class is cancelled or changed by ID however, we do offer refunds/transfers to everyone who has booked.
