Annie’s classes draw from her on-going work with contact improvisation and the Underscore, performance and performance making and biodynamic craniosacral therapy. Key ingredients include welcoming difference (age, experience, movement style, desire, ability, energy level) to co-exist in the space plus improvisational frames to play with dancing/moving at our own pace and explore seeing and being seen.

Time will be given to notice how you are feeling able or unable to make choices in the moment and to explore permission, power and agency in your dancing alone and with others. Invitations to work in contact and with touch are offered each day, freedom to adapt/translate these invitations are very welcome and Annie will be available to dialogue around this if wanted.

This week of morning class forms part of the MA/MFA Creative Practice: Dance Professional programme, meaning that there are a reduced number of public places available. If this class is sold out, please join the waiting list to be notified if a place becomes available.
