This series of classes, focusing on Skinner Releasing Technique (SRT), will be taught by Gaby Agis, Franzi Boehm and Mira Hirtz.  Skinner Releasing Technique (SRT) is a pioneering approach to dance, movement and creative process that has evolved from the simple principle that when we are releasing physical tension, we can move with greater freedom, power and articulation. It is a playful and generous approach to dancing.

Classes will consist of poetic imagery, supported by music and some partner graphics, using guided touch. There are 15 classes in this pedagogy. For this week Gaby, Franzi and Mira will be teaching classes 6-10. Students would benefit from having previous SRT experience, but all are welcome.

This week of morning class forms part of the MA/MFA Creative Practice: Dance Professional programme meaning that there are a reduced number of public places available. If this class is sold out, please join the waiting list to be notified if a place becomes available.

Please note that Tuesday’s class is part of this year’s open day and is not currently open for public booking.

Cancellations and refunds
Prices for classes are kept very low and are subsidised by ID in order to support artists to attend. To keep admin manageable for our small team, we don’t offer refunds if you cancel or can’t attend a class, and we can’t transfer your booking to a different class/event. We hope this is understandable. If a class is cancelled or changed by ID however, we do offer refunds/transfers to everyone who has booked.
