Led by J Neve Harrington, these sessions will explore the training modalities embedded within the Screensaver Series performance score and will be grounded in physical research involving improvisation with:
Touch and weight exchange
Drawing practices and graphic imprints of imagination
The materiality of the gaze
Anticipation, planning and denoting surprises softly
Dynamics
Playful coordinations
We will work towards and within the body symmetry practice as a ground for generative limitations, developing strength and finding the seams between our moving and where we might seek the support of others. We will work with touch and contact but there will always be options to work without touch.
Cancellations & refunds
Prices for classes are kept very low and are subsidized by ID in order to support artists to attend. To keep admin manageable for our small team, we don’t offer refunds if you cancel or can’t attend a class, and we can’t transfer your booking to a different class/event. We hope this is understandable. If a class is cancelled or changed by ID however, we do offer refunds/transfers to everyone who has booked.
