Kimberley Harvey’s class will offer an opportunity to combine multi-layered movement exploration with a playful curiosity, allowing for movement conversations with our own and others’ bodies and with the space.
Kimberley aims to create a space that is responsive to individuals and the wider group. These classes will be aimed at dance and movement-based artists who have a desire to explore their own creativity alongside finding challenge, drive and the possibility for gentleness.
Technique will be built into each invitation with the opportunity for you to delve as deeply as you wish. This will be done through a series of guided improvisations, tasks and exercises that allow for individual translation with the support of certain parameters. In these sessions, Kimberley will share elements from her relational artistic practice with her company Subtle Kraft Co as well as influences from an ever-evolving approach to facilitation.
