Through an integrated ‘mind-body’ approach requiring investigative and reflective practice, Sasha’s classes involve articulate sequences that build in sophistication and complexity, engaging with the floor as a resource for physical and sensory research.
During the sessions, focus will be given to skeletal alignment, breathing, centring, physical integration, proprioceptive orientation and energy management. Sasha aims to encourage intellectual engagement, exploration and imaginative play, while recognising one’s own body as a resource for learning and a vehicle for expression. To further support the creative learning experience, elements of improvisation and gentle partner work are an integrated element of each class.
Sasha uses fundamental principles drawn from her in-depth study of practices including Klein technique, Feldenkrais, Yoga and the Japanese martial art Aikido, from which to develop embodied understanding.

Please speak to a member of the ID team if you require any assistance.
Cancellations and refunds
Prices for classes are kept very low and are subsidised by ID in order to support artists to attend. To keep admin manageable for our small team, we don’t offer refunds if you cancel or can’t attend a class, and we can’t transfer your booking to a different class/event. We hope this is understandable. If a class is cancelled or changed by ID however, we do offer refunds/transfers to everyone who has booked.
