Through an integrated mind-body approach requiring investigative and reflective practice, Sasha’s morning classes involve articulate sequences that build in sophistication and complexity, the floor engaged with as a resource for physical and sensory research.
Fundamental principles drawn from her in depth study of practices including Klein technique, Feldenkrais, Yoga and the Japanese martial art Aikido, act as a basis for the class from which to develop embodied understanding.
Particular focus is given to skeletal alignment, breathing, centring, physical integration, proprioceptive orientation and energy management. Sasha aims to encourage intellectual engagement and imaginative play, while recognising one’s own body as a resource for learning and a vehicle for expression. To further support the creative learning experience, elements of improvisation and partner work are an integral element of the class.

Please speak to a member of the ID team if you require any assistance.
Prices for classes are kept very low and are subsidised by ID in order to support artists to attend. To keep admin manageable for our small team, we don’t offer refunds if you cancel or can’t attend a class, and we can’t transfer your booking to a different class/event. We hope this is understandable.
If a class is cancelled or changed by ID however, we do offer refunds/transfers to everyone who has booked.
